Myanmar's very first Thai Franchise Festival was jointly organized by SMART SME Thailand, Makro Myanmar, and Mingalar Alliance Co., Ltd. The opening ceremony of “Thailand SMART FRANCHISE & PRODUCT 2022” Festival was held in the morning of 27 October 2022. UMFCCI Vice President U Thein Han, Secretary General U Aye Win, and Joint Secretary General U Kyaw Dewa attended and opened the ceremony by cutting the ribbon.

At the exhibition, more than twenty (Thai local own badge) products, Thai local cosmetics, food and other consumer products can be franchised in Myanmar. CEOs of different brands can train from start to finish for the start-ups to begin their businesses. Special sales promotions were also included.  

The exhibition was not only for business owners, but also for MSME start-up entrepreneurs to visit. Consumer products, opportunities to run own businesses, technologies for MSMEs, health supplements, and other types of products were introduced there. The four day exhibition was held from 27 to 30 October 2022.
