On the evening of June 29, Kingenta (002470) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Guizhou Jinxing Mining, received a review opinion letter from the National Mine Safety Administration on June 29, 2026. The safety facility design for the Malucao Phosphate Mine 2 million tons/year underground mining project successfully passed review.

The project plans for underground mining, with an annual capacity of 2 million tons and a mine service life of 25 years. Additionally, a 5-year infrastructure construction period is set. The mining elevation ranges from +871 meters to +200 meters, utilizing a vertical shaft combined with a blind ramp for development, and trackless transport for the levels. The mining operations are supported by two backfill mining methods, and the ventilation system is a single-wing diagonal exhaust type, relying on the main and auxiliary shafts for intake air and the return air shaft for exhaust. Drainage adopts a centralized single-stage system, with a pump house constructed near the auxiliary shaft yard at the +205 meter level, where underground water is uniformly discharged directly to the surface via the auxiliary shaft.

Phosphate rock is a key raw material for Kingenta's phosphorus chemical sector, and currently, the company relies entirely on external procurement for ore. Upon completion and commissioning of this phosphate mine, the mineral output will be prioritized for internal supply, significantly raising the level of phosphate ore self-sufficiency. Self-produced ore quality is uniform and stable, which can ensure the long-term, stable, and continuous operation of chemical plants, reduce comprehensive raw material costs, and enhance the enterprise's ability to hedge against industry price fluctuation risks.
